About Concertina Australia

This website has grown from the requests of concertina players in Australia, particularly those who have been associated with the Concertina Convergence. So far the Convergence has convened at the National Folk Festival in Canberra; at a Bush Traditions Gathering at Binalong in NSW; and at an organised weekend at Yackandandah in Victoria. Then having the National cancelled due to COVID inspired the Homebaked Concertina series of videos.

The site provides both discussion forums for members who perhaps live beyond practically assembling at such meetings, as well as communication groups (public and private) for direct communication between members.

Registration is necessary to participate and contribute. The process is quite simple. Click Register Here and provide the necessary information. Then an email will be sent to your provided address for you to confirm your registration. This is a necessary step to keep out spammers!

Be sure to provide a name and username that is meaningful to the concertina community to avoid being mistakenly dumped as a spammer who got in under the radar.

The Guide may be of help for seeing how it all works, and for your peace of mind you can consult the Privacy Policy.
